DISTRIBUTION STOX ANNOUNCES ITS EXPANSION IN ATLANTIC
ACQUISITION OF UNIMAX TIRE DISTRIBUTION BY DISTRIBUTION STOX
Boucherville, September 3, 2020 - In pursuit of our business plan, we are proud to announce the acquisition of Unimax Tire Distribution, a division of Unimax Ltd, specializing in the distribution of tires for cars and light trucks, as well as commercial and agricultural in the Atlantic provinces.
Distribution Stox takes another important step in its development with the addition of a presence in 4 new Canadian provinces. These provinces will be in addition to the current coverage of those of Quebec and Ontario.
The Atlantic Provinces distribution network serves customers in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. These customers are served daily from the Moncton, Dartmouth and St. John's sites and will join the current distribution network which will now have 20 distribution centers offering more than 900,000 sq. Ft. storage.
Over the next few weeks and months, we will be working on the transition plan that will ensure we use the strengths of both teams. The addition of new product lines, the use of new management tools, the sharing of expertise as well as the strength of the team are examples of stimulating projects that allow us to be confident for the future.
